5年生のコモンルームに行ってみると、インターナショナルクラスの子どもたちがArtのクラスで絵を描いていました。アミークスにはイマージョンコースとインターナショナルコースの2コースがありますが、この２つのコースの子どもたちが交流できる共有スペースが各学年に設置されています。今回はArtのクラスに使われていましたが、本を読んだり、勉強をしたり、スナックを食べたり、両コースの児童が仲良く過ごせる空間となっています。

The grade 5 international course students were drawing in the common room. At AMICUS, we have two courses, the immersion course and the international course. In order to inhance communication between the two courses, this “common room” was set up in the middle of the classrooms for every grade. The international students and immersion students get along reading together, eating together, studying together in the common room.
