Following last year’s success of “AMICUS R2K”, a team consisting of AMICUS graduates, became the first team from Okinawa to win the 3rd place in the world at the WRO Open Championship 2024 held in Italy!　Continuing from that, AMICUS students and AMICUS alumni represented Japan at WRO 2024 @Turkey.
Two teams bearing the AMICUS name achieved excellent results in that world competition!

・ROBOMISSION Expert Competition Junior Division : AMICUS GIRLs 7th / out of 114 teams.
・ROBOMISSION Expert Competition Senior Division : AMICUS R2K 6th / 104 teams.

NHK Okinawa visited AMICUS to do a live report about the AMICUS Robotics that accomplished this great achievement.

NHK reported the three main secrets of the AMICUS Robotics’s strength.

(1) Design, the foundation of the robot from gears to construction and configuration.

(2) Programming the movements on PC.

(3) Experimentation to completion.

The live broadcast showed how quickly and accurately these processes are carried out.

 Students concluded “Our goal for the future is No.1 in the world!” We have high expectations for the AMICUS Robotics club members. Good luck!
