To all parents, Happy New Year!

I wish you all the best for 2025 and look forward to your continued support this year.

 Today marks the first school day of 2025, and I am delighted to see all our students returning to school full of energy and enthusiasm.

 This morning, we held the Junior high School Morning Assembly. Below is a summary of the message I shared with the students during the assembly:

 Good morning, students.

First of all, I am truly happy to see all of you back at school, healthy and energetic.

 Looking back on the past year, there were many memorable moments for me. Among them, three events stood out in particular: the performance of Sanma Democracy in July, the Sports Day in October, and the 9th-grade Personal Project presentations. In each of these events, I could see your hard work and passion, which deeply moved me.

 In addition, there was another event that made me even more excited about the coming year. That was the student council member election. The speeches given by all the candidates were truly inspiring. Every candidate passionately shared their ideas to make Amicus an even better school and conveyed how much they love Amicus. Listening to them made me realize, once again, how much I love this school too.

To the newly elected student council members, I have one request: start taking action immediately. If you wait too long or hesitate, time will quickly pass, and you may lose the chance to accomplish what you want to do. Don’t wait—start acting now.

I also have one request for the rest of the students. A leader cannot succeed alone; they need support and cooperation from you. I hope you will not just be passive supporters, but rather become active members of the Amicus crew. The word “crew” means “a team of people working together on a ship.” For a ship to move forward, every crew member must fulfill their role. Similarly, I want each of you to take on the responsibility of being an Amicus crew member and actively support and work alongside the student council members.

 We, the teachers, will also do our utmost to ensure that all of you have a fun and fulfilling school life.

 Let’s work together to make this year another wonderful and memorable one for all of us!
