Second graders had a special lesson to learn about air.
The students learned that air moved in a spinning motion by coloring invisible air, and they were very excited to try to grasp the air rings!
Students learned that the weight of the back feathers and front weight must be the same to make the rocket fly straight. The classroom was full of energy with colorful balloon rockets flying around.
Even though we breathe air every day, most of us did not know how air moved. We all enjoyed throwing the rocket balloons at each other.
Thank you very much to the staff of Okinawa Zoo & Museum and the K2 parents.
