Kai Masaki Wins Two Freestyle Titles!

While I have been spending my summer break in a rather leisurely manner, the
accomplishments of our students have been remarkable.
On July 21st and 22nd, just after the start of summer vacation, the Okinawa Prefecture
Middle School Comprehensive Athletic Meet for Swimming was held. In this competition,
Kai Masaki from class 8B achieved two titles in the freestyle events. The newspaper
reported that “he left his rivals far behind in the 200-meter freestyle, finishing more than
nine seconds ahead of the second place."
One of AMICUS's educational philosophies is to "bring out and enhance each child's
individual strengths and potential." At AMICUS, we have many students who possess
amazing talents not only in sports but also in music, art, and other areas. Moving forward, I
am committed to making AMICUS a place where students with various unique qualities can
fully express themselves, not just in academics but in all aspects of their individuality.
