On Saturday, March 2, the AMICUS Choir held its commemorative first annual concert!
This was the first time for the AMICUS Choir to give a solo performance since it was established in 2020.
With only one practice a week, it was difficult to secure enough time for thorough practice, but everyone worked very hard for this day!
They sang 10 songs which included a wide variety of songs!
Two additional songs were sung in response to encores.
At the end, everyone took a commemorative photo.
They look very accomplished, don’t they?
The 6th graders, for whom this would be their last concert, presented a bouquet of flowers and a gift to Mr. Inagaki, as a token of their gratitude.
They also included Fumiko, the teacher who has been a wonderful accompanist.
Everyone did a great job!
We look forward to seeing your wonderful voices again next year at the second regular performance.
