A baby boom of larvae of the black rice paper butterfly is underway at AMICUS!
The students have been looking for golden chrysalis and larvae to show us when they come to school in the morning.
In addition, G1 students are learning how to write an observation diary in their Japanese (Kokugo) class.
The teachers are taking this opportunity to observe the butterfly eggs they have collected from hatching and use them as the theme for their diary.
“When the larvae are born from the egg, they eat the eggshells!” They happily told us what they had noticed.
