During spring break, Ms. Adelle, one of our teachers here at AMICUS from South Africa with an Indian background, had a cooking lesson with various spices for teachers and staff.

The teachers and staff were very interested in cooking with authentic spices!

Everyone enjoyed the delicious meal and introduced their ‘curry stories’ to each other, saying, “This is how we eat it in my country,” and “There are recipes like this in my country.”
