On June 24th, G5 students invited Mr. Jimmy Schwartz, a former high commissioner specialist 1st class, who was adopted by an American family after WWII then served as an U.S. military member before becoming a regional coordinator in Okinawa. He shared his life story with G5 students including the hardship he experienced as a child after WWII.
Mr. Jimmy is still active as an amateur golfer at the age of 82, and the students seemed to have learned the importance of motivation, perseverance, and serious effort from him.
