AMICUS owns a total of ten horses and ponies, and every year the first through third graders of the elementary school have the opportunity to experience horseback riding as part of their PE class.
The staff of UMABU (AMICUS Horseback Riding Club) kindly taught them how to ride.
The three horses that welcomed the G2 students this time were Star, with his cute brown and white pattern, Brownie, who is one of the largest ponies, and Snow, with his snow-white hair!
The students first learned how to greet and interact with the horses, and then brushed and cleaned their hooves.
After deepening their interaction with the horses, the children were ready for their much-anticipated riding experience!
The children were a little nervous but enjoyed the ride.
