At AMICUS, 4th graders have an annual printmaking project which is based on the inspiration they receive from the works of printmaker Bokunen, Naka.
This year, the 4th graders visited the Bokunen Art Museum with print boards and pencils in hand to make preliminary sketches for their prints.
There is no restriction on the theme but this year’s artwork will reflect the 10th anniversary of AMICUS!
Each of them is free to create his or her own work based on what they feel from Mr. Bokunen’s works. It makes their works full of individuality.
The children discussed the theme of their work and immediately started drafting together.
Here are some of the past 4th graders’ works. So excited to see what they will come up with this year!
