In kindergarten, they had a Zoom meeting about Mid-Autumn Festival with Nan-Shi Kindergarten in Taiwan.
Before the Zoom meeting, AMICUS children learned a little bit about where Okinawa, Japan, and Taiwan were located by using a world map.
They also read a book about full moon night and looked at some pictures of the moon.
In the Zoom meeting, children of Nan-Shi showed us how they celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
They also sent us some moon cakes and enjoyed the festival together.
They have discovered some similarities and differences in their cultures!
