The elementary school finally had the Sports Days by each grade to prevent 3Cs.
Most of the school events had been canceled last year because of Covid-19 restrictions,
so it was the first Sports Day for the elementary students in two years!
The children’s faces shone with smiles under the clear sky!
This time, we will introduce G1&G2’s Sports Day held on July 7th.
The Contents of G1 Sports Day were; dance, ball toss, and relay.
For dance, they danced with pompoms and colorful scarves and fascinated the audience with their dazzling smiles!
For the ball toss, it was very cute to see the children standing still when the music stopped while throwing a paper ball toward the basket.
For the relay, even a small first grader ran around the playground alone and everyone did a very good job!
The contents of G2 Sports day were; dance, obstacle race, and relay.
Using colorful costumes and uchiwa reminded us of summer festivals, they performed a Bon festival dance that made us feel the summer fresh air!
For the obstacle race, they tried caterpillars, hurdles, canned stilts, and jump ropes!
For the relay, it was a fierce and exciting battle while the students were cheering hard on their friends.
