K2 planted a gajumaru tree (banyan tree) as their graduation memorial.
Thanks to the parents’ support, the children were able to work on it with the school gardener Mr. Taira, who always takes care of our gardens.
The gajumaru tree is still as small as the K2 friends. They put the tree in a hole in the ground, covered the roots with soil, and watered it as they hoped it to grow bigger!
They are so excited to see the tree become bigger and were saying, “I’m happy we could plant a tree,” and, “I want to grow bigger as the tree grows.”
We are also looking forward to seeing K2 grow with this gajumaru tree!
Thank you parents and Mr. Taira for this wonderful opportunity!
