AMICUS’s Annual event “AMITALKs”, a Japanese speech contest, was held the other day.
Students from G1 through G9 had a selection with the class/grade level under the theme of “Let’s talk for the future.”
On February 26th, they had a school wide contest through Zoom.
Each speaker presented their thoughts and ideas confidently and some speakers even showed their research results in a presentation.
We would like to introduce the speech theme of the representatives from each grade!

A group of four students gave a recommendation for books. We were able to find the uniqueness of each book.
G8 “To accept things by facing yourself”
He presented what we can do by facing ourselves as we experienced school closure and spending more time at home due to the covid-19 pandemic.
G9 “Dear me at that time; A message from me”
During the last year of junior high school, the events were canceled due to the influence of covid-19, he thought about what he could do to keep his memories. He came up with the idea of making a video letter from his 14 years old current self, to his 11 years old past self.
All of the students were able to openly present their thoughts and ideas that they wanted to share!
