On Friday, Oct. 24th, AMICUS robot club was interviewed by NHK Okinawa, a local TV company, for the “Alcohol Disinfectant Robot” which was made by six students from G2 to G5.
Making the robot was their original idea and the children said, “When we sanitize our hands, we have to touch the same part of the sanitizer. So we wanted to make an automatic disinfectant dispenser robot to reduce the risk of getting infected.”
When the hands are placed in the proximity of its censor, the sanitizer will be dispensed automatically.
Even though the TV shoot was a live coverage, the students did seem to be nervous and they were able to speak with confidence!
The Robot club has been active in various fields. Keep up the great work to achieve your dreams!
