On Wednesday, October 21st, grade 5 held their English Speech Contests.

There were ten speech representatives and they delivered their speeches with a wide variety of themes such as; bullying, discrimination,

the importance of breakfast, beach-cleaning/volunteering, covid-19, and the difference beween a leader and a boss.

They looked nervous while waiting for their turn, however all the speakers delivered their speech confidently!

Some students had their own role during the contest such as MC, ICT support, timekeeper, video taking, and support for the judges.

Thanks to their effort, the contest went smoothly!

The contest turned out to be great! Good job G5 students!
