Art class at AMICUS includes pottery lessons.

 

A potter, Ms. Hasegawa, who is also the teacher of AMICUS pottery club, delivers a special pottery class to the students.

 

 

Each grade has different tasks. During the first semester, they spend four classes making flower pots, cups, Okinawan shisa etc…

 

 

Students create their own work by adding their favorite characters and patterns to the pottery.

 

Some students were saying “I’m going to give this to my family/teachers as a present!”.

 

They love pottery class and were all putting their hearts into their work.

 

 

Looking at their work, you can feel their interests and personalities.

 

They are all looking forward to seeing how it will turn out!
