5th graders had an interaction with the students from Shan Fong Elementary School in Taiwan through Zoom.

5C students picked up some daily conversation phrases, such as “Yoroshiku” and “Arigato”,

and taught how to say them in Japanese and Uchinaaguchi (Okinawan dialect).

5A students did a self introduction in Japanese, English, and Chinese!

They looked so happy when the Taiwanese students understood 5A students’ Chinese!

The students from Shan Fong Elementary School showed us a traditional dance in Taiwan and some famous foods there!

AMICUS 5th graders had so much fun interacting with the Taiwanese students. They learned something about Taiwan and communicated with the children outside of Japan.

We are looking forward to the further activities from now on!
