On Friday, December 6th, AMICUS elementary school held “Performance Day”.
The elementary students showed us the results of their endeavors through their performances.
In the morning session, grade 1, 3 and 5 played drama. What kind of drama did they play?
Grade 3 “The Homework for the Future”
They performed an original story about the future of the planet earth. It made us think about how important it is to take care of our planet.
Grade 1 “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
1st graders performed one of the picture book stories “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”,
which is a story that matches this time of the season perfectly. The dance at the end of the play was also exciting!
Grade 5 “Message from the Future”
5th graders performed their original story that themed the environmental problems around them, which is a topic they have been learning.
They came up with the story themselves, wrote the scripts and stage plans, and made props and digital sources; with only limited help from the teachers.
Students and teachers have worked together so hard until the day to make the plays successful! Thank you for the wonderful play!
