Kosei Matsuyama, a 6th grader of AMICUS Elementary School, made a film called “Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant

– Seen by an Okinawan Elementary School Student” which has won the 3rd place for “The Peace In The Streets Global Film Festival 2019,

age group 9-13″, organized by The Peace Maker Corps in the U.S.

He attended the award ceremony and screening held at the United Nations in New York on November 6th.

He went to Fukushima this summer and interviewed local residents to create the video.

He is so passionate about disseminating what is going on in Japan to the world.
