3rd grader held a charity event under the theme of “Pay It Forward.”

They asked their families and teachers to donate items from their homes.

After they collected the donated items, they worked on sorting them into some categories and making advertisement posters.

On the day of the event, parents, teachers, and students in other grades came to buy the items at the grade 3 area.

3rd grade students were very good at explaining and recommending the items to the customers.

Thanks to the students’ hard work and many cooperation by parents and teachers, we were able to raise ¥94,000 which exceeded last years amount!

Using the full amount, we will provide ‘Kumi no Sato’ in Kumejima with some items they need.
