AMICUS calls the week before Okinawa’s Memorial Day “Peace week”.

 

 

Students in 4th, 5th. and 6th held a “Peace Assembly.”

 

 

They showed a video that taught them what they had learned about peace through their field trips, lectures about the Battle of Okinawa, and poems they wrote about the theme of peace.

 

 

They also sang the famous songs “Imagine” and “Gettou (Shell Ginger)” to pray for the peace in the future.
