Current 4th, 6th, and 8th graders have been collecting some clothes and stationary since last January.
At the end of the March, two of the 2nd graders went to Malaysia with their families.
They visited illegal immigrant settlements, an orphanage and gave what they collected at AMICUS to children there.
They also enjoyed performing, and singing a song together.
4th graders learned about Malaysia, which was something they can’t really know about while living in Japan.
They felt they were connected with Malaysian children through their donations that AMICUS students collected for them.
