Grade 5 has been studying river systems and river functions in scinece class. This week each grade 5 class has had the chance to see the river functions in person through a visit to the Tengen river that flows beside Amicus.
One group saw an eel, all groups got the see the river transporting and accumulating soil.
The hiking was very difficult but the students got to see the difference between a narrow part of a river that moves fast and a wide part of a river that moves much slower.
