Today’s AMICUS covers G1 students who went on a field trip to “Ken-So” (Okinawa Comprehensive Athletic Park). They had fun baking sweet potatoes and playing on the BIG play ground.
They learned more than just how to put those yams in the fire…. they also learned how dried leaves and branches must be added to the fire, at the right timing!!
It was a bit scary to see the flames and smoke coming up, but participating in the activity was a lot of fun!!
Overall, it was a great experience for G1!!
