A teachers’ job never ends.

In fact, it’s only the beginning!!!

As a teacher, we become life-long learners and are aware of how educational needs change over time.We need to think about how to adapt ourselves to those changes.This is essential for teachers, especially in a school like ours. Beginning last year, we started an annual Okinawan branch conference for Japanese Association for Language Teaching (JALT) at our school.This past week we had our second conference. We invited Prof. Makiko Tanaka of Kanda Univiersity of International Studiesto give a keynote speech in Language (English) Education @ Elementary School level.  

There were many participants from the area, such as teachers of other schools, from different grades, college lecturers, and, of course, teachers from AMICUS.We all shared our examples of good practices, research findings, and held workshops using actual teaching materials used in their lessons.
