Despite the approaching (potential) typhoon, we went ahead with implementing our annual Summer Fest, with an even greater turnout than last year.
Before the Gates Open…
Many people were waiting to enter the gates to school.
Some of the same guests joined our previous AMICUS Cafe event.
Thank you for coming to visit!!!
Trial Lessons
One of the highlights, where prospective students get to participate in a trial lesson by one or more of our teachers.
In Kindergarten trial lessons, participants made animals with various parts as they learned different shapes and colors.
The elementary class learned numbers up to 10, and sang some songs.
Activities in the Library
After that, guests had fun making hand-crafted hover-crafts, playing games that originate from different regions of the world, and took turns playing musical instruments.
In the Multi-Purpose Hall
Parents volunteered (courtesy of our Parents Association) to sell food, like popcorn and cotton candy. Yum Yum!!!
A special meal was prepared bowls by our lunch vendor (Shoku-no-Kakehashi Company) who supplies our “Support Lunch”.
A handful of our students performed in a talent show. The saxophonist was awesome! All who were present stopped eating with their chopsticks, to be immersed in this beautiful melody.
Info Session in the Afternoon
Education in the 20th century has helped us efficiently and accurately follow the guideline. Our Principal, Mr. Yasui, gave a speech on the importance of taking the initiative to think, learn, and act in our children’s generation.
We all had fun in the BOUNCY!!!
After having fun with the various activities, many wanted a play session inside the BOUNCY.
As simple as it is… even adults find it fascinating to join the fun, and to take their turn.
