Here it is. It’s the Performance Day tomorrow for the Junior High School students.
They’ve spent all the time they can, from early in the morning to the afternoon.
They even used their recess.
Here are some fragments of their hardwork.
Before Homeroom / Media Center – Underground Floor
It’s the time when everyone is still not fully awake.
Although, if they can sing this much with this amount of energy, I think they can do a lot better on the day.
The corridor and the Common Area is now a studio for performance practice.
They were having a difficult time trying to synchronise the rhythm. They started from adjusting the speed, and play through the whole thing.
This was meant to be the teachers’ job until few years ago, how they stay at school in the teachers’ room until late at night, but now, the students are capable of doing it themselves.
They can do a whole range of things with their laptop. They edit music, videos, etc.
We can see the student checking their dance moves and how it goes with the track.
We have our supply depot coming to the admin office.
“May we have some strings?”
“May we have some empty cardboard boxes?”
We can’t provide them everything of course, so the students need to come up with alternative plans.
The teachers too, are working hard on their part of the performance.
This teacher was working on his drum beat.
― The Day Before ―
Today was our last practice day.
At school, we conducted a series of last-minute checks before we headed for the venue.
The performance itself was fascinating, with spectacular live music by the brass band, dances with sharp moves, and the choir sang a fantastic finale.
Sorry to say, I can’t give away too much here on the blog, so you can only anticipate and imagine what you’ll see on-stage tomorrow!!!
