In Japanese they learned how to use the dictionary. They challenged the activity with their parents, in which they had to figure out which definition is used. For example, the word 頭(Atama) means “head”. It can be used like “Atama-ga-ii” (meaning clever), or it could be used like “Bun-no-atama”(literally meaning “the head of the sentence”, which means “the begininning of the sentence”). It’s always fun learning different expressions.
In P.E. the students practiced some of the events for the Sports Day. They practiced the event called “The Eye Of The Typhoon.” It must’ve been quite an enjoyable moment for the students as they were able to see their parents and guardians in a different situation.
