Today’s article is the report from Grade 3 teachers.
On Wednesday, March 15th, 2017, Grade 3 visited Okinawa school of the blind. Students had chance to play floor volleyball, take a braille writing lesson from Mr. Yoza who is blind and former student of that school. They also observed different classes, while taking a tour of the school. Students could learn about the challenges faced by blind people. Our hope is that in the future they will be more aware of people with disabilities and offer them help and assistance them if needed. We also hope that they felt the fighting spirit of these blind students and were inspired and motivated to always try their best and never give up no matter how difficult the situation might be.
