Good morning everyone 🙂 Let’s start our Circle Time 🙂
Have a good day 🙂
Here is a glimpse of our May Birthday Party.

♪♪ We are also listening to this insect song for kids. ♫
If you have time, please let your child listen and sing this at home too. 🙂
After catching and sketching insects + insect mission game, K2 friends’ interest in insects have grown more.
They made their favorite insect using recycled materials. Then, they interviewed each other.
Q: What is your favorite insect?
A: My favorite insect is _________.
We are continuing our activities about insects. We’ll update again next time 🙂

P.S. They took off their masks for this picture just for few seconds and wore them asap.
Thank you FUN TEAM for this FUN DAY! 🙂
K2 friends accepted our challenge.
They formed 6 teams and each team chose an insect to research on.
Mission # 1 : How does it spell?
Mission # 2 : What do they eat?
Mission # 3 : Draw two kinds of this insect.
After accomplishing their mission through research, they had a presentation.
After this Mission Game, they got more interested in insects. We are now continuing our INSECTS activities. We will share more with you in the future. 🙂
K2 friends went to a swimming school for two consecutive Mondays.
Last week, they met their swimming teachers and enjoyed being in the water.
Today, they had more fun swimming 🙂
If you want to learn how to swim, you have to be in the water. 🙂 What a wonderful experience indeed! ❤️
There are many living things around AMICUS insects, geckos, frogs, and others.
This week, we enjoyed the nice weather and the sight of these creatures.
“I want to catch insects!”
“Let’s catch the insects together!”
“I caught a butterfly!”
“We caught this grasshopper together.”
“I caught a ladybug!”
“I caught a honeybee!!!”
“I caught a praying mantis.”
“I caught many grasshoppers!”
These are some of their words after catching the insects! They were so happy to be outside and catch them.
Look how many insects did they catch 🙂
They are also interested in frogs so they caught them too! 🙂
Except the frogs, we brought all the insects inside the classroom for a while and sketch them.
After they finished sketching, they surely release them outside. 🙂
Everyone feels glad with this experience 🙂 Truly, simple things like appreciation of nature and hands-on experience make every learning more meaningful! 😉
This week we had two important orientations so that our students may have awareness of safety in the buses and on the roads.
K1 and K2 Bus Orientation
When our students ride the bus for any event or field trip, it is important that they know what to do if there is an emergency. Thus, our teachers and SENON staff helped them learn to be calm and listen so that they can safely evacuate when needed.
K1 and K2 Traffic Safety Rules
Gushikawa Police Officers came and taught our friends to how to safely cross the road in order to avoid any accident.
Lastly, we close our week with a good weather. K1 and K2 friends ate and play outside together. 🙂
To the world you are a MOTHER, but to your FAMILY, YOU are the WORLD. -Unknown
We appreciate all your efforts and love dear AMICUS Moms. With this, our Kindergarteners made their own presents for you.
K1 friends made aroma candles and cards.
K2 friends made bougainvillea garlands with their messages and pictures.
We wish you a wonderful day and we hope that you like their personally-handcrafted gift for YOU.
