Pineapple Adventures #1
As we continue to learn about food loss and about food rescue we were excited to have K2 Kafu’s parents visit us and teach us about pineapples. Mr. and Mrs. Gushiken are pineapple farmers and cafe owners. This year was a poor growing season so many their pineapples were too small to sell. Instead of throwing them away, they donated them to Kinder!! K2s had a wonderful time learning about how to grow and how to eat pineapples. We were able to eat lots of yummy fruit. We had so much fun with Mr. and Mrs. Gushiken. Thank you so much!!
