Hello Parents and Guardians,
I hope you have been having a relaxing summer break with your family. As we get ready for our next art unit, G3 art is requesting your help. Please keep any old clothing, socks, fabric scraps, buttons, and craft materials that you were planning on donating and put them in a bag and bring them to school. We will be making “Upcycled Friends” for art class! We want students to see how fun it can be to be sustainable. Students will use the materials that have been collected to make their “friends”. Please bring these materials to school by September 4th. As students make their projects, they may need to get extra supplies. We will be sure to let you know in advance if any additional supplies are needed.

ご家族とゆったりとした夏休みをお過ごしかと思います。さて、夏休み明けの図工の単元で「アップサイクル・フレンズ」を作ります。これは、いらなくなった洋服や靴下なとを使って「お友だち（図をご覧ください。）」を作る単元です。持続可能な生活がいかに楽しいかを、子どもたちに実感してもらいたいと考えています。ご家庭に着ていない古い服、布の切れ端、ボタン、靴下など工作材料などがございましたら、ぜひ取っておいてください。９月４日までに、集めた材料を袋に入れて持たせてください。ご協力よろしくお願いします。制作の過程で、追加の材料が必要になる場合もあります。追加の材料が必要な場合は、必ず事前にご連絡いたします。
