Next week we would like to use family pictures for an activity. Please bring a photocopy of your family photo by Monday, May 21st. (Only for K2 student)

Last week we made hand dyed headbands for Mother’s Day (Happy Mother’s Day!). Because of this experience the students have become very interested in dying cloth. If you have extra 100% white cotton cloth at home that you can donate to Kindergarten, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Planting

Everything started from reading this book in class.

After reading the book, we planted tomatoes just like the book.

We also planted tomato, okra, and basil seeds.

We watered the plants together.

We first pulled out the weeds but then we discovered different bugs in the soil!
