JH Speech Contest
We had a Speech Contest this afternoon.
From our grade, Umi and Natalie(from ELA class), Kanon and Seren(from ELL class) represented this grade 9 and had a speech. Each student had an awesome speech as a representative. For the result, Natalie won the 1st prize, Umi for the 2nd prize, and Kanon for the Principle’s Award.
来月からPBL月間です。今から1ヶ月間、27日の公演に向けてJH全体で取り組みます。今年は3年前に披露されたGateside Storyをブラッシュアップして、よりよい物語へとアップデートしたリバイバル版を披露します。9年生にとっては最後のパフォーマンスデイになるので、全員が全力で取り組んでいます。

今週は、7年生の歓迎会をしました。８つのチームに分かれて学年混合で、歓迎会を楽しみました。綱引き、ドッジボール、尻尾取りをしました。7年、8年、9年生の全員がみんな仲良く楽しんでいました。優勝したチームには、たくさんのお菓子が景品として渡されていました。また、勝てなかったチームも参加賞としてお菓子をもらっていました。学年を越えてみんな仲良く出来てよかったです。
The selected students held a welcome party for the 7th graders. They were divided into eight teams, with mixed grade levels, and enjoyed the party. They played tug-of-war, dodgeball, and tail-grabbing. 7th, 8th, and 9th graders all got along well and had a great time.
