Field trip 校外学習
3月5日木曜日、校外学習がありました。今回は２０２４年にオープンしたばかりの北谷町立博物館と、イオン北谷店、アラハ公園へいきました。ルールを守って楽しく見学、買い物をしました。We had a field trip yesterday.We went to the Chatan town museum,supermarket,and Amhara park.We enjoyed very much.

みなさま、2月10日はクレージーヘアーデーがあり楽しい髪型で登校しました。17日は保護者主催のむかし遊びワークショップがあり、照屋先生からじゅず玉のブレスレットや竹トンボ作りなどで楽しみました。24日は3学年アミトークスがありました。クラスからは、もりまる君、たけし君、ととさん、えいと君がクラス代表で発表をし、えいと君が学年代表にまりました。おめでとうございます。On the 10 th of this month,we had a crazy hair day. We enjoyed it.On 17th we had a patents event with Mr Teruya. Today we had our grade level Amitalks. From our class,Takeshi,Morimatsu,Toto,and Eito participated and Eito was chosen as the grade representative.Great job.
Field trip to Nago museum 校外学習
On January 15, we went on a field trip to the Nago museum. The museum was renewed and reopened in 2023.We saw old Okinawa’s house,a whale,and many old tools. We had a great time and two hours went by very fast. Please visit the museum with your family.
1月15日は校外学習で、2023年にリニューアルした名護博物館へ行きました。古民家やクジラの標本、むかしのあらゆる道具がたくさんあり、あっという間の2時間でした。くわしい紹介は授業参観で子どもたちがお話しますが、ぜひご家族でも一度行ってみて下さい。

今日は1年生から６年生までカルチャーデーがありました。３年生は台湾のプレゼン、客家族に伝わるお話を人形劇で、そして客家族の伝統柄の花柄布でけん玉作りをお客様に説明をしてもてなしました。みんな大満足。午後はさらにスナックパーティーにプレイ、ムービータイムと最高な1日でした。また来年会いましょう。良いお年を。Today our cultural day finished successfully.The hakka puppet show,Taiwan presentation,and making Kendama using hakka clothes. They did super great job.We hope you will have a great chiristmas and happy new year.
Field trip to a Toilet paper factory 校外学習
10月24日金曜日、うるま市に昭和製紙工場へ校外学習に行きました。ここではウチカビ、板ちり紙、古紙をリサイクルしてトイレットペーパーを作っています。うるま市内から集まった古紙が地球窯と呼ばれる大きな機械やカッターなどを使い１つのトイレットペーパーになる行程実際に見学をしました。未来を考え、自然に優しい無駄のない取り組みに感動です。その後はあやはし館2階にある海の文化資料館でマーラン船など昔のうるま市の交易様子を学びました。
On Friday, October 24th, we went on a field trip to the Showa Paper Factory in Uruma City.
At the factory, they recycle old paper, “uchikabi,” and tissue paper to make toilet paper.
We saw how old paper collected from Uruma City is turned into toilet paper using big machines called “Chikyugama” and cutters.
It was impressed by their eco-friendly and waste-free work for the future.After that, we visited the Sea Culture Museum on the 2nd floor of Ayahashi Hall.We learned about old trading in Uruma City and saw the “Maran” boats.
End of the first semester1学期終了
今日で99日間の1学期が終了しました。B組のみなさんは今日プログレスレポートを受け取りました。さらにクラスで皆勤賞や多読賞、スポーツテスト最多得点賞、優秀生徒賞が選ばれています。午後はダンスやいすとりゲームなどレクで盛り上がりました。来週火曜日からまた2学期スタートします。しっかり頑張りましょう。保護者のみなさま、読み聞かせ、カブトムシ、教師デーの虹作りなどお世話になりました。ありがとうございました。
Today marks the end of our 99-day first term!
Class B students received their progress reports and celebrated special awards for perfect attendance, extensive reading, top sports scores, and outstanding achievement.
In the afternoon, we had fun with dancing and musical-chairs games.
The second term begins next Tuesday — let’s do our best again!

読み聞かせ会Special Storytelling Event
17日の午後は３年生の保護者による特別読み聞かせがありました。それは日本語と英語の本の読み聞かせを聞きながらポップコーンやロリポップキャンディもいただいたのです。午前中は校外学習、午後は読み聞かせイベント。何名かの生徒が「今日最高じゃん。」と言っていました。今回、素敵なポスターや手作りのしおりもありました。心から感謝いたします。ありがとうございました。On the afternoon of September 17, our Grade 3 students enjoyed a special storytelling session organized by parents. We listened to stories read aloud in both Japanese and English, while also enjoying popcorn and lollipops.It truly was an exciting day—after a morning filled with our field trip, we had this wonderful reading event in the afternoon. Some students even said, “This is the best day ever!”Beautiful posters and handmade bookmarks added to the warm atmosphere. We sincerely thank all the parents who made this possible.
Field trip 校外学習
9月17日は社会科の学習でうるま警察署とうるま市消防本部の見学をしました。警察署ではパトカー体験や逮捕術訓練体験をしました。自転車の安全な乗り方もお話してもらいました。消防署では35メートルまでのびるはしご車を見せていただき、アミークスからはマーク先生と、アームストロング先生がはしご車の挑戦をしました。その後は救急車に乗ったり質問コーナーがありました。警察署も消防署の方々も日々私たち安全のために働いて下さっています。ありがとうございました。On September 17, we went on a social studies field trip to the Uruma Police Station and the Uruma City Fire Department.At the police station, we had the chance to ride in a police car and experience arrest training. We also learned about how to ride bicycles safely.At the fire department, we saw a ladder truck that can extend up to 35 meters. From Amicus, Mr. Mark and Ms Armstrong bravely tried climbing the ladder truck. After that, we got to go inside an ambulance and had a fun Q&A session.Both the police officers and firefighters work hard every day to keep us safe. We are very grateful to them.
